Job Location: northern Alberta (3 hours north of Edmonton).

Hourly rate: $51.69.

Our client is seeking a full-time, permanent Journeyman Electrician experienced with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems in a manufacturing environment. The position requires relocation to a small town 3 hours north of Edmonton, Alberta and relocation assistance is offered.

- Are a Journeyman Electrician with maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Have broad electrical experience which includes preventative maintenance, as well as installations and upgrades, working on a variety of motors, hydraulic motion controls and encoders (Must Have).
- Have strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills and are at ease interpreting schematics and understanding technical manuals.

You:
- Are legally authorized to work for any employer in Canada (e.g. Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, open work permit).
- Have 2 or more years’ maintenance experience, in a manufacturing environment and a valid Journeyman Ticket (Must provide a copy).
- Have a ‘Can Do’ attitude and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
- Thrive within a diverse workforce and have a proactive approach to continually look for improvement opportunities within the operation.
- Are proficient in the English language (oral and written).
